Conor McGregor tips scales at 170.5 lbs for UFC 329 return, faces Max Holloway after five years
Conor McGregor, who transformed MMA into a global spectacle and owns the top five pay-per-view events in UFC history, weighed in at 170.5 pounds in Las Vegas on Friday, clearing the final hurdle for his first bout in five years against former foe Max Holloway.
McGregor stepped onto the official scale at the UFC 329 weigh-in in Las Vegas and recorded 170.5 pounds (77.33 kg). Holloway, the Hawaiian star who has since built a legacy as one of the best featherweights of all time, weighed 170 pounds (77.1 kg) minutes earlier, making the main event official. The Irishman, who last competed in the UFC in 2021, returns with the same draw that once made him the promotion's biggest commercial star: he has headlined the five highest-selling pay-per-view cards in company history. McGregor beat Holloway by unanimous decision when they first met in 2013, a fight that has since gained historical weight.
