Eva Herzigova weds long-time partner Gregor Marsiaj in Turin after 25 years and three children
The ceremony at Turin's historic Palazzo Carignano marked the culmination of a quarter-century romance that produced three sons and weathered a public infidelity scandal.
A quarter-century romance sealed
Eva Herzigova, 53, and entrepreneur Gregor Marsiaj, 49, tied the knot on Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Turin, the city where Marsiaj was born and where the family has lived for years. The couple began their relationship in the early 2000s after reportedly meeting in Varigotti, Liguria, and have three sons, George, 18, Philip, 15, and Edward, 12. Marriage talks started in 2017, when Marsiaj proposed, but the official ceremony was delayed until now.
The wedding day
The afternoon opened with a religious service at the small Chiesa di San Vito, decorated with garden roses in white and peach, Herzigova's favourite flowers. About 50 family members and close friends attended. Marsiaj pulled up in a 1989 Aston Martin V8 with his three boys; Herzigova was accompanied by her father. Don Bruno officiated the short rite. Afterward, the couple proceeded to the Sala dei Plebisciti at Palazzo Carignano, a landmark hall that was the seat of Italy's first Parliament and today houses the National Museum of the Risorgimento. There, before roughly 100 guests, they exchanged civil vows to the strains of classical piano music. The evening concluded with an intimate dinner at Del Cambio, Turin's historic Michelin-starred restaurant just steps away from the ceremony venue.

An entrepreneur and a supermodel
Marsiaj, a graduate of Bocconi University who also studied in the United States, belongs to a well-known Turin industrial family. His father, Giorgio Marsiaj, founded Sabelt, a company that manufactures safety systems and sports seats for racing cars and road vehicles. Herzigova, born in the Czech Republic, rose to fame in the 1990s as the face of Wonderbra and later co-hosted the Sanremo Music Festival. Her first marriage to Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres lasted from 1996 to 1998. Since then she has focused on raising her three sons, often speaking about the challenges of balancing motherhood with an international modelling career.
Hard, like for all women, and sometimes I don't manage. There is the moment of family and that of work, and you have to do somersaults.
She also revealed that she once turned down an offer from Stanley Kubrick for "Eyes Wide Shut" because the film's portrayal of women disturbed her.
When a situation doesn't convince me, I say no. I was supposed to be undressed, and then in Kubrick's film I didn't like the narrative of women treated as objects. It would have been a great career move, but it wasn't worth it.
Past crisis and resilience
The couple's quarter-century journey has not been without turbulence. Several years ago, Marsiaj was photographed kissing another woman in a Prague club, and Italian weekly Chi splashed the pictures. The story briefly became public. Yet Herzigova and Marsiaj overcame the breach, eventually emerging with a deeper commitment.
The secret? Respect, complicity and never giving up.
Inside the ceremony
Guests included family and close friends; Naomi Campbell, a long-time friend of Herzigova, was rumoured to attend but her presence was not confirmed. The civil ceremony in the Plebiscite Hall carried deep symbolic weight, tying the couple's personal milestone to Italy's national history. After the vows, the wedding party moved to Del Cambio, where chef curated the dinner. The entire event was marked, according to reports, by understated elegance and discretion.
