Greek ministry publishes 2026 Panhellenic exam results for university entry
Candidates can now check their Panhellenic exam grades via the official website, SMS, and notice boards at schools across Greece.
Grades released
At approximately 13:00 local time on Thursday 25 June, the Ministry of Education published the results of the 2026 Panhellenic university entrance examinations. The scores are now available to all candidates from General Unified Lyceums (GEL) and Vocational Lyceums (EPAL). The ministry made the grades accessible online, via SMS, and on printed lists at every GEL and EPAL school nationwide.
How to check your score
Candidates can retrieve their individual results on the official website https://results.it.minedu.gov.gr. To log in, they must enter their eight-digit candidate code and the first four characters (in uppercase Greek letters) from their surname, first name, father's name and mother's name. For privacy protection, the physical lists posted at schools show only candidate codes and subject grades, without full names or other personal data. Candidates who earlier registered their mobile number on the ministry's platform will also receive their scores via SMS.
Calculating admission points
A dedicated ministry application at https://markcalc.it.minedu.gov.gr allows candidates to calculate their total admission points automatically. By entering their written exam grades, candidates can instantly see the total points they accumulate for each academic department or school in their chosen scientific field or sector. The final weighted score is computed by multiplying each subject grade by its weighting coefficient, summing the four products, and multiplying the sum by 1,000.
What comes next
With grades published, candidates can now proceed to the university application phase. They must first obtain a personal security password from their school by Tuesday 30 June, which is required to submit the online application form (Mechatronic Deltio) and the parallel application form for further education institutions. The ministry will announce the exact timetable for submitting the forms and the final admission thresholds in the coming days. The overall admission bases are expected to be released in late July.
Exam period wraps up
Thursday also marked the conclusion of the special subject exams for candidates seeking admission to specific faculties. Tomorrow, Friday 26 June, the health examinations and practical tests for admission to Physical Education and Sports Science departments (TEFAA) will end, closing the 2026 Panhellenic examination cycle.
