Car hits five pedestrians on Ealing Broadway; man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder
A 34-year-old Somalia-born British man was arrested after a car drove into five pedestrians in west London on Saturday. None of the injuries are life-threatening.
The incident
A car collided with multiple pedestrians on Ealing Broadway, west London, shortly after 2.29pm on Saturday. The vehicle did not stop at the scene but was intercepted nearby. Metropolitan Police officers arrested the driver, a 34-year-old Somalia-born British man, on suspicion of dangerous driving and attempted murder.
Casualties
Five pedestrians were injured. Two received treatment at the scene, and three were taken to hospital. A police spokesperson said none of the injuries are life-threatening or life-changing.
