EuroMillions draw tonight carries a €17 million jackpot across nine European nations
The twice-weekly EuroMillions lottery will be drawn on Friday evening, with an accumulated top prize of 17 million euros available to players in nine European countries.
The draw ahead
EuroMillions will hold its second draw of the week on Friday 12 June 2026, following the Tuesday game. An accumulated jackpot of 17 million euros will be offered to ticket holders, according to El Confidencial.
The draw takes place in Paris, where the lottery has been held since its inaugural event on 13 February 2004. Participating countries are Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland.
Hoy puede ser un gran día para los jugadores del Euromillón, ya que contamos con un premio acumulado de 17 millones de euros.
How the game works
To enter, players select five numbers from 1 to 50 and two "star" numbers from 1 to 12. Matching all seven numbers wins the jackpot, but the game offers 13 prize tiers, from matching just two numbers up to the top category.
In Spain, a single bet costs 2.50 euros and includes entry into the supplementary "El Millón" draw, which is available only to tickets sold in Spain. In other countries, the base price is 2 euros. The prize pool represents 50% of total ticket sales.
Where to watch
The draw is scheduled to begin at 21:00 CET, with live coverage available via the official website of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE) in Spain and through lottery operators in other participating nations. El Confidencial will also offer a minute-by-minute live blog starting at 21:30.
Larger context
EuroMillions was launched in 2004 by a consortium of lottery operators from Spain, France and the United Kingdom and has since expanded to nine countries. It has a jackpot cap of 190 million euros; if the top prize is not won, it rolls over and increases for the next draw, with excess funds allocated to the second prize category once the cap is reached.
Funds from ticket sales support social and cultural projects in the participating countries, including education, health, sport and heritage programmes.
