Greek vocational students sit four specialty subjects as Panhellenic exams continue
On Saturday, 13 June, candidates from Greece's vocational high schools (EPAL) will sit exams in Materials Technology, Construction, Internal Combustion Engines II, and Digital Systems, as the 2026 Panhellenic examinations move into their second week.
Today's exam subjects
Candidates from vocational high schools (EPAL) across Greece will take four specialty subjects on Saturday morning. The exams begin at 8:30 a.m. local time, with students required to arrive at exam halls by 8:00 a.m. Each written test lasts three hours. The subjects scheduled for 13 June are Materials Technology, Construction, Internal Combustion Engines II (MEK II), and Digital Systems.
Answer key released for Digital Systems
Shortly after the Digital Systems exam, the Papadea tutoring centre published the full answer key for the paper. The solutions cover multiple-choice questions, register descriptions, analogue-to-digital conversion procedures, counter modifications, bus architecture definitions, and a 16-bit instruction format dissection. The publication is part of a routine practice during the Panhellenic exams, allowing candidates to estimate their performance.
Remaining EPAL specialty schedule
The EPAL specialty exam period will conclude on Monday, 15 June 2026, with the final three subjects: Refrigeration-Air Conditioning Elements, Aircraft Engines, and Central Heating Elements. After that, candidates from both EPAL and general high schools (GEL) will take the special and music subject exams. Those begin on Tuesday, 16 June, with English, and finish on Thursday, 25 June, with Spanish. Other languages and subjects are spread across the intervening days, including German, French, and Italian, as well as Freehand Drawing, Linear Drawing, and music theory and performance.
