The 13-year-old Sevillian Eduardo Sánchez, known as 'El campanero', won the 11th edition of La Voz Kids on Antena 3, securing a 10,000-euro scholarship and a place in the show's history. His flamenco rendition of 'Alfileres de colores' tipped the public vote decisively in his favour during a final gala that pitted eight finalists against one another in front of a packed studio audience.

The announcement capped a night that had begun with Pablo López performing 'Como soy' alongside every past winner of the Spanish edition, a tribute the programme called unprecedented. Host Eva González then steered the evening through a series of duets pairing each coach's finalists with guest artists.

A final full of stars

The gala unfolded in distinct phases. After the opening homage, Melody joined Triana and Evolett, Belén Aguilera sang with Marco and Erick, and Antoñito Molina performed with Leire and Eduardo. Leire Martínez delivered an emotional version of 'Jueves' beside Martina and Mía. Manuel Turizo and Lucas, the previous season's winner, returned to perform 'Mírame ahora' together.

The evening's climax came with the final duels between the coaches and their pupils. Ana Mena stood alongside Marco, Edurne shared the stage with Martina, Luis Fonsi offered an intimate version of 'No me doy por vencido' with Evolett, and Antonio Orozco sang his anthem 'Pedacitos de ti' as a duet with Eduardo. Once the public votes were tallied, Eva González named Eduardo 'El campanero' the winner.

From the countryside to the spotlight

Eduardo lives in Seville but describes himself as a country boy who loves spending time in La Campana, his grandparents' village. He enjoys hitching the mule to the carriage and riding with his grandfather, singing, taking in the landscape, and spotting partridges, hares and rabbits. The young singer's imposing flamenco vibrato had already made him the favourite in coach Antonio Orozco's team during the semifinals.

His path through the competition saw him win over the experts in the Asaltos round and spark enthusiasm from advisers such as David Bisbal before dominating the final battles and the decisive live shows.

Orozco joins a shared record

The victory gave Antonio Orozco his second win as a La Voz Kids coach, drawing level with David Bisbal and Melendi. Orozco first won in 2017 with Rocío Aguilar during the show's third edition. Bisbal and Melendi had previously each reached two victories and remain the only coaches with multiple wins in the format's history.

What comes next

The winner's package includes a 10,000-euro training scholarship and the immediate profile that comes with topping one of Spain's most-watched family talent formats. Antoñito Molina, Orozco's adviser this season, told the teenager after the verdict that he would "sing for life," while Orozco predicted a long career. The show closed its tightest edition to date with the audience chanting the new champion's name.
