Justin Bieber added as co-headliner to first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show alongside Madonna, Shakira and BTS
FIFA and Global Citizen announce Justin Bieber as a co-headliner for the first-ever World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 19, joining Madonna, Shakira, BTS, Burna Boy, Gustavo Dudamel and Coldplay.
Star-studded lineup
Justin Bieber will co-headline the inaugural FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 19 at New York New Jersey Stadium. He joins previously announced acts Madonna, Shakira and BTS for the 11-minute spectacle. The show will also feature Nigerian musician Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus and Coldplay, whose frontman Chris Martin curated the event in his role as international curator of the Global Citizen Festival. The Muppets, including Kermit and Miss Piggy, will make an appearance.
The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I'm grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it's already helping expand access to education for children around the world.
Charitable mission
The performance supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to expand access to education and football for children worldwide. The fund has already secured $50 million and will match $1 from every ticket sold to World Cup matches.

- 100000000 $
To represent Africa on the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show is a privilege and a responsibility that I don't take lightly. I'm honoured to be part of a performance that not only celebrates football and culture, but also helps create greater opportunities for children through education around the world.
We are proud to have Justin Bieber joining Madonna, Shakira and BTS to co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show in support of the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund and our mission to expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children around the world.
A first for football
The halftime show is the first of its kind at a men's World Cup final, drawing comparisons to the Super Bowl's traditional entertainment spectacle. Global Citizen co-founder Hugh Evans called it "the single largest gathering of artists united for a cause since Live Aid" and predicted it could be the most-watched 11 minutes of broadcast music performance in history.
Dudamel's personal connection
For Gustavo Dudamel, the appearance carries deep personal weight. The conductor, who is soon to leave the Los Angeles Philharmonic after 17 years to lead the New York Philharmonic, has been deeply affected by the double earthquake that struck his native Venezuela two weeks ago, leaving nearly 4,000 dead. He plans to travel to Venezuela in the coming weeks to assist relief efforts and has partnered with the UN Development Programme and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean on an education initiative.
Saldremos adelante.
