Polish Uniforms Found on Gangsters

Officers of the CBŚP and the Border Guard, in cooperation with German Police and prosecutors, finalized an operation lasting since the second half of January against international criminal structures. The investigation revealed that the group operated for eight years, building a network of connections involving trade in firearms and large-scale drug trafficking. Among the 23 detained individuals are citizens of Poland and Germany, with the core of the group consisting of members of the notorious motorcycle gang Hells Angels and representatives of Turkish clans. In Poland alone, specifically in Kraków and Skawina, five people were detained. During searches in four countries – Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Spain – services found evidence indicating a high degree of professionalism within the group. Not only were weapons and ammunition seized, but also fake IDs and, particularly concerning, Polish uniforms. The criminals also possessed false documents and cash amounting to 200,000 euros. The Minister of Justice and the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration emphasized that the success of the operation was possible thanks to exemplary coordination between the Polish Prokuratura Krajowa and law enforcement agencies in Berlin. These actions show that the state has appropriate tools to combat cross-border crime. Hells Angels, founded in 1948 in California, has been under Interpol surveillance for years due to its structures' involvement in extortion and drug trafficking worldwide.„International strike against organized crime – 23 people detained in four countries!” — Marcin Kierwiński An important aspect of the case is the thread of stolen cars and handling of high-value property.
