Police officers from Sucha Beskidzka and firefighters have successfully concluded an intensive search for 13-year-old Karolina Jarzębak, a ward of the Social Welfare Home in Jordanów. The girl, who is non-verbal, left the facility on Monday afternoon. After several hours of large-scale operations, the services announced that the teenager was found safe and sound. Simultaneously, Polish police are searching for other teenagers in Gdańsk and Kartuzy.

The search operation ended successfully before 8:30 PM, when police officially confirmed the thirteen-year-old had been found. The girl was placed under medical and guardian care, and her life is not in danger. Simultaneously, other search operations are ongoing in the north of the country. Officers in Gdańsk are searching for 16-year-old Evelina Liakhovetska, who went missing on Saturday in Ujeścisko. Meanwhile, police in Kartuzy are trying to establish the whereabouts of 16-year-old Franciszek Macholla, who has not been in contact with his family since Friday evening. In Poland, police record approximately 13-15 thousand missing persons cases annually, a significant percentage of which are teenagers aged 13-17. Most cases are resolved within the first 48 hours of being reported.It is also worth noting the success of the services in the Opole region, where a parental abduction of 11-year-old Dmytro Kushnir was thwarted.
