The Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police conducted a large-scale operation targeting one of the most dangerous drug syndicates in the capital. Nearly 300 officers took part in the action, detaining 23 people. Most of the suspects are hooligans of one of Warsaw's football clubs. The group may have introduced over a ton of drugs, including crack, into circulation. Among those apprehended was also a 'chemist' responsible for producing the substances. The operation had a nationwide scope, also covering the Łódź and Greater Poland voivodeships.

Strike Against Illegal Gambling
In Przedbórz, a point with illegal slot machines was closed, and weapons and drugs were seized.
The Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police dismantled a dangerous criminal structure that monopolized the trade of intoxicants in selected districts of Warsaw. As informed by the Minister of the Interior and Administration, officers from various units, including counter-terrorists, participated in the operation. During coordinated actions, 23 men were detained, most of whom were strongly linked to the hooligan environment. A key success was the apprehension of a person acting as a 'chemist,' who modified recipes to produce crack. Investigators estimate that since November 2024, the gang managed to introduce over a thousand kilograms of drugs into retail circulation. The distribution system was based on a network of dealers operating in Warsaw's gateways, which was intended to minimize the risk of detection by police patrols. Since 2014, Polish services have observed a steady professionalization of criminal groups originating from hooligan environments. These groups have evolved from participating in stadium brawls to corporate-like structures that take control of local drug markets and illegal gambling. Parallel to the actions in the capital, police carried out strikes in other parts of the country. In Przedbórz, officers shut down an illegal gambling den. Meanwhile, in Inowrocław and in Greater Poland, the Bydgoszcz division of the CBŚP dismantled laboratories producing psychotropic substances. A total of 1,260 kg of finished substances were seized there. All those detained in Warsaw have been charged with participation in an organized criminal group and trafficking significant quantities of drugs. The court, at the prosecutor's request, applied a preventive measure in the form of temporary arrest for most of the suspects. The case is ongoing, and investigators do not rule out further detentions of individuals cooperating with the gang. „Zorganizowana grupa przestępcza, w której strukturach działali pseudokibice, została rozbita przez funkcjonariuszy CBŚP. W wyniku szeroko zakrojonej operacji zatrzymano 23 osoby odpowiedzialne za wprowadzenie do obrotu co najmniej tony narkotyków” (The organized criminal group, within whose structures hooligans operated, has been busted by CBŚP officers. As a result of a large-scale operation, 23 people responsible for introducing at least a ton of drugs into circulation have been detained) — Marcin Kierwiński Assets secured during the operation, including cash, cars, and electronics, will be analyzed to determine the group's funding sources. Police also seized illegal firearms and ammunition, indicating a high degree of danger posed by the criminals. This operation is considered one of the most significant blows to the hooligan environment in recent years.
