The operation codenamed "Epic Fury" focuses on eliminating Iran's missile capabilities and the leadership of the Revolutionary Guard. Despite the massive operation, the Pentagon is monitoring the scale of Iran's retaliation, which has targeted US bases across the entire Persian Gulf region. Experts are analyzing whether such a broad scope of strikes was planned from the beginning or constitutes a sudden escalation in response to losses suffered by Tehran. Meanwhile, within Iran itself, an incident occurred involving the hacking of state television, which broadcast an appeal from Donald Trump addressed to the Iranian people. Relations between Israel and Lebanon and Iran have been tense since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, but the current scale of direct state-on-state clashes is the largest in decades.A key turning point is the firm declaration by European powers. Germany, France, and the United Kingdom in an official statement declared their readiness to take military steps to defend the region and neutralize the Iranian threat. President Emmanuel Macron announced an increase in France's military presence in the Persian Gulf. On the diplomatic front, there has been a sharp increase in tension in the region, and Gulf countries have condemned Iran's violation of their sovereignty. The United Arab Emirates focused on strengthening air defense, remaining in close contact with allies from the US and Israel. The situation remains extremely dynamic, and the engagement of Western air forces suggests preparations for a prolonged air campaign against Tehran's military infrastructure.
