This means a complete abandonment of the partnership with Qualcomm in the flagship segment, which is intended to allow for deeper optimization of software and hardware. At the same time, leaks suggest the S27 Ultra model will receive a camera module with a design similar to Xiaomi's solutions, which is set to revolutionize mobile photography quality. In the foldable device segment, Motorola strengthened its position by presenting the razr fold model. Although initial opinions on the build quality of the casing are reserved, the device attracts attention with its slimness. The manufacturer also showcased the Edge 70 Fusion model, equipped with a 7000 mAh battery cell, solving one of the biggest problems of modern smartphones – short battery life on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Chinese Honor Magic V6 and Vivo X300 Ultra show that Asian competition is ahead of Western standards in terms of casing thickness and optical zoom advancement. The foldable smartphone sector was born in 2019. Since then, the industry has evolved from fragile prototypes to mature constructions, which now constitute the fastest-growing segment of the premium market. The component layer was dominated by AMD and Corning. AMD presented new Ryzen AI processors, which will go into laptops and desktops, strengthening the trend of local AI processing. However, enthusiasts are concerned by the fact that the new chips will not be available for retail sale in boxed versions, but only in pre-built systems. In the durability area, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 debuted, which thanks to its ceramic structure is said to almost completely eliminate the risk of screen shattering when dropped on a hard surface.
